Videos circulating all across social media showed US President Joe Biden tripping and falling on stage during an event.

The incident occurred last Friday during a graduation ceremony at the Air Force Academy near Colorado Springs.

Video footage showed Biden tripping and falling to the ground as he was leaving a podium. Staffers quickly rushed to his assistance and helped him stand up. He was then walked off stage unassisted.

As of today, the oldest person to have ever been sworn in as US President is Joe Biden, who is currently 80 years of age.

In April, Biden confirmed that he will seek a second term at the White House in 2024, with many raising concerns that his old age might affect his capacity to run for another term.

Biden’s age is already posing a risk for the Democratic party, which is currently the minority in the House of Representatives as Republicans have taken over.

Biden, who does not drink alcohol and exercises five times a week, has been deemed "fit for duty" by doctors following a check-up in February and according to the White House, he is mentally sharp for the job.

As of now, Biden will be running against big names like former US President Donald Trump and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, and former South Carolina governor Nikki Haley. Trump leads all rivals in a prospective field of 12 Republican candidates, with 48% support to DeSantis' 24% while Haley received a mere 5%.
