Al-Batsh: The enemy wanted to embody the deal of the century by uniting Al-Quds under its sovereignty.

Islamic Jihad's leader Khaled al-Batsh warned that any Israeli aggression on holy sites in the Al-Quds (Occupied Jerusalem) would lead to a regional war, and that the resistance weapons proved the Gaza equation.

In his exclusive interview with Al Mayadeen, al-Batsh indicated that "it is enough at this stage to hear words from five important leaders in the region about their readiness to defend Al-Quds," considering that these forces are capable of waging war and leading the regional battle for Al-Quds.

He also affirmed that “other arenas, whether in Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and Yemen, were ready and willing to be partners in the battle if it was prolonged or if we needed it."

"The enemy wanted to embody "the deal of the century" by uniting Al-Quds under its sovereignty, and our battle was to resolve and establish Palestinian national and religious sovereignty, “he urged.

Batsh went on to say that "the enemy assumed, through normalization and Arab silence, that the issue of Al-Quds was over.”

"But when "Israel" wanted to storm Al-Aqsa and with the case of Sheikh Jarrah, a word from the Palestinian people was indispensable."

Al-Batsh stressed that "Saif al-Quds Battle has united the Palestinian people", adding that "they have hope for victory and became more confident in the leadership of the resistance".

Al-Batsh: Going to legislative elections has become a fantasy

On Palestinian elections, Al-Batsh considered that "going for legislative elections has become a fantasy, pointing out that the core of the problem is building the national reference."

In the same context, he saw that "the road to unity begins with rebuilding the Liberation Organization, re-forming a National Council, an Executive Committee and a new Central Council".

The top Palestinian figure stressed that "some countries still believe in the legitimacy of “Israel” in the region, and they are surprised by the steadfast resilience of Palestinians."

He considered that "the resistance has the right to spread hope in the veins of the nation, and this is what the leaders made by proving that Palestine is capable of emerging victorious over "Israel".”
