US forces brought about 50 vehicles loaded with equipment and weapons from Iraq to Syria, as revealed by a source to Al Mayadeen.

The source added that "these vehicles carry a number of US soldiers coming from Iraq.”

Additionally, the batch of vehicles is the second in two weeks, after the US forces introduced about 70 vehicles a week ago.

Furthermore, the source divulged that last week’s vehicles carried fuel and equipment to the military bases in Rmelan and Tal Baidar, located in the countryside of Hasaka.

On the other hand, sources close to the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) reported that "a batch of US troops who began withdrawing from Iraq have actually arrived in Syria."

These sources indicated that the troops coming from Iraq were stationed in bases in Al-Shaddadah in Al-Hasakah, and in Deir ez-Zor as well.

Local sources from Al-Qahtaniyah, northeastern of Hasaka, have told SANA on Thursday that a convoy of 56 trucks and tankers carrying weapons and ammunition, alongside 8 hummers, headed to the US bases in areas where the SDF is deployed, under the latter’s protection.

At the end of last September, SANA revealed that a convoy of 50 vehicles, including trucks, refrigerators, and tankers carrying US armored vehicles and military equipment, was brought in by the US from Iraq in order to support its military bases.
