The Secretary-General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq Sheikh Qais al-Khazali announced on Friday that all the forces of the coordination framework approve early elections in order to please the Sadrist movement.

Al-Khazali stressed that, "in order for the Sadrist bloc deputies to return, there is no solution other than early elections," noting that, "the framework is open to what the Sadrist movement wants and does not want to exclude them, and is ready to respond to all rational demands."

Al-Khazai added that, "the coordination framework was open to solutions, did not carry out any provocation and was objective and practical," stressing that, "the framework is ready for the [Sadrist] Movement to participate in the government as per the same number of Sadrist MP's that have resigned."

He continued, "a name from the Movement was presented to us and the framework did not refuse it but asked to preserve the right to hold the largest bloc," pointing out that, "the framework is ready to give half of the seats of the Shiite component in the government to the Sadrist Movement in order to get them to participate."

Al-Khazali expressed his belief that "Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani is ready to concede if this is the solution," and asked, "is Iraq's only problem now the prime minister [position] and the person of Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani only?"

According to the Secretary-General of Asaib Ahl al-Haq, "Iraq is a state, and its existence requires a political process during which the government is formed."

Earlier, the coordination framework confirmed its ongoing dialogue with all parties to implement constitutional requirements, stressing its "full adherence to its candidate for Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al-Sudani".

He also stressed, "the importance of dialogue with all parties to execute constitutional responsibilities, the return of institutions to perform their tasks, and the formation of a full-fledged government, in order to spare the country more crises".

On September 7, the Federal Supreme Court of Iraq dismissed the lawsuit filed by a number of Sadrist leaders calling for the dissolution of the House of Representatives, citing that the dissolution of the council is not within its authority.

This came after the leader of the Sadrist Movement in Iraq, Muqtada al-Sadr, demanded that the Judiciary dissolves the parliament, calling for the dissolution of the current parliament and early elections.

It's noteworthy that Iraq has been suffering from a political crisis that has recently escalated after the resignation of the Sadrist bloc's deputies from Parliament and the Leader of the Sadrist Movement, Muqtada Al-Sadr, announced retiring from the political scene. Later, the Iraqi government announced the start of the national dialogue between the political forces to resolve the crisis.
