Gharibabadi: IAEA inspectors are allowed to work on surveillance equipment maintenance

Iran's Permanent Representative to International Organizations in Vienna, Kazem Gharibabadi, stressed that the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) inspectors have gradually come up with new rules and regulations.

Gharibabadi tweeted, "Security measures at the nuclear facilities in Iran are, reasonably, tightened.”

He pointed out that "the IAEA’s inspectors will be allowed to work on the maintenance of the specific surveillance devices and replace their memory cards, noting that "how and when this is done will be determined through an agreement with Tehran.

Yesterday, the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, said that the Agency has all the technical means it needs to continue the surveillance process in Iran, adding that the surveillance service will start in a few days.

It is reported that the head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization, Mohammad Eslami, met the Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Rafael Grossi, in Iran, and they had talks, which they described as "good and constructive."
