Chief Commander of the Iranian Army Abdolrahim Mousavi asserted that the country's armed forces are fully prepared to tackle any foreign threat that could be targeting Iran.

"The sailing vessels of the Iranian Navy are currently engaged in defending the Islamic Republic's interests in high seas," said Major General Mousavi during a ceremony in Tehran.

"The Ground Forces' [military] units are stationed on the country's borders in complete readiness. Our Air Defense Force is also observing and surveilling the country's [air]space 24 hours, and our Air Force [too] is constantly patrolling Iran's skies," the commander added.

Elsewhere in the remarks, Mousavi stressed the necessity that the country remains vigilant in foiling enemy plots in this "hybrid war" against the Islamic Republic.

The adversaries' means of targeting the country could be simply a bullet composed of their "voice, image, and discourse," Mousavi said. "Sometimes, this bullet fired during the war strikes and leaves destructive impacts without us realizing it."

The riots in Iran will not prevent the country from standing firm on its redlines when it comes to certain policies, despite reports that Western countries are counting that internal instability will cause Tehran to back down on some of those policies, Iranian officials have stated, as reported by Mehr News Agency.

Western countries have been pushing Iran by inciting unrest in the country to force it to yield to foreign demands on many issues that go against Iranian national interest, especially its peaceful nuclear program.

At the forefront of foreign countries are European states who have been part of the JCPOA or supporters of it, which have in recent years called for a more diplomatic approach in Tehran, which represents a major shift in their political approach and even threatens the possibility of ever reviving the nuclear deal, at least in the foreseen future.

In the latest series of Iran's protests against the irresponsible and hostile interference in its internal affairs by several EU states, Iran's Foreign Ministry summoned the German ambassador on Monday and conveyed a strong message to Berlin for its anti-Iran statements and actions, most recently the resolution that was passed in the UN Human Rights Council, which was proposed by Berlin earlier last week.
