Iranian Leader Sayyed Ali Khamenei responded to a previous letter by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Secretary-General Ziad al-Nakhalah, saying, "I have received your strong and promising letter, and I ask God to reward you and bring the final victory closer to the oppressed Palestinian people."

Khamenei emphasized that the PIJ's valiant resistance has elevated the movement's position and defused Israeli plots.

Furthermore, the Iranian leader stressed that the PIJ proved that any part of the Resistance would single-handedly humiliate the Israeli enemy.

He also called on Palestinian factions to exert strained efforts in order to preserve unity.

Khamenei believed that "while the enemy is weakening, the resistance is becoming stronger."

The Iranian leader reiterated that Tehran will always stand by the Palestinian people."

In May 2021, the Iranian leader congratulated the Palestinian people on the resistance's victory over the Israeli entity, saying in his message that "the occupation will weaken more and more."

It is worth noting that the Israeli occupation launched on August 5 an aggression on the Gaza Strip, and Al-Quds Brigades announced that Tayseer al-Jaabari, a military commander in the northern Gaza Strip, had been martyred.

The Health Ministry in Gaza reported that 46 people were killed in the Israeli aggression, including 16 children.
