Palestine:100 days since the administrative detainees boycott the occupation courts.

Around 500 administrative detainees continue their boycott of the Israeli occupation courts under the slogan "Our choice is our freedom" for the 100th consecutive day, as part of their movement against the arbitrary policy of administrative detention.

At the beginning of last January, the administrative prisoners made a joint stand, declaring a total and final boycott of all judicial procedures related to administrative detention.

Administrative detention is followed through without charge or trial, and neither the detainee nor his lawyer is allowed to look over the gathered evidence, which is a clear and explicit violation of the provisions of international humanitarian law. Moreover, only "Israel" practices administrative detention.

The occupation authorities and prison administrations claim that administrative detainees have secret files that can never be disclosed, so the detainee does not know the period of his sentence or the charges against him.

The administrative detainee is often subjected to the renewal of the detention period more than once for a period of three months, six months, or eight, and sometimes it may reach a full year. In other cases, it has reached seven years, as in the case of the fighter Ali Al-Jamal.

It is noteworthy that the number of prisoners in the occupation prisons has reached more than 4,500 prisoners, including 31 female prisoners, and nearly 180 children.
