Raisi has previously announced that Iran will make efforts to establish peace and stability for Afghanistan

"Afghanistan has not experienced a single happy day since the Americans began interfering in Afghan matters," Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi remarked on Monday.

During a phone call with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz, Raisi stated that the US withdrawal from Afghanistan should be considered a starting point to establish an internal agreement on an acceptable form of government by various Afghan forces and factions.
