Yemenis and the Yemeni armed forces do not depend on the truce and do not count on the credibility of the forces of aggression.

Deputy Head of the Sanaa Delegation Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan said that pieces of evidence indicate that the Saudi-led coalition continues to violate and not comply with the terms of the armistice since it was announced," noting that "what has been achieved so far is not equal to 10% of what was announced in the terms of the armistice."

Lieutenant-General Jalal Al-Ruwaishan announced in an interview with Al-Masirah Channel that "if the truce continues without opening the ports, paying salaries, and opening the airport, then this truce is pointless and our people insist on taking their rights," adding that "the Yemeni people and the Yemeni armed forces do not depend on the truce and do not count on the credibility of the forces of aggression.

Al-Ruwaishan revealed that by accepting the truce, the Sanaa government focused on alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people, and that "the whole world is witnessing that the travelers from Sanaa airport are the sick, the elderly, women, and children, and this is evidence of the credibility of our demands."

He went on to say that "If the aggression forces continue to violate the truce, then we have nothing to lose, and our people will not accept a derogatory and breached truce."

"We absolve our responsibility before our people; this [Saudi] aggression does not abide by any agreements," he added, stressing that "the aggression does not abide by the truce in the required form, and the leadership and the Yemeni people are aware of this matter."

According to Al-Rawishan, "the payment of salaries is one of the false promises that the coalition of aggression and mercenaries constantly make."

In the context of his speech, he pointed out that "the revenues collected from entering oil derivatives are supplied to a special account, and we have nothing to hide in this regard."

Al-Ruwaishan considered that "the United Nations is trying to show its success in the armistice in Yemen, while the suffering of our people continues due to the interruption of salaries and oil derivatives."

A few days ago, the Deputy Foreign Minister in the Sanaa government, Hussein Al-Ezzi, announced that his government had accepted the extension of the armistice in Yemen based on "serious promises" to increase the number of flights and to make progress on the issue of salaries.

Simultaneously, a Yemeni military source told Al Mayadeen about 32 new violations by the Saudi coalition forces on the fronts south of Al-Hudaydah during the past 24 hours.

The source stated that the Saudi coalition reconnaissance planes launched 3 raids on the Maqbanah district, west of Taiz governorate, southwest of Yemen, and the multiple forces of the Saudi coalition bombed the areas controlled by the army and committees south of Al-Hudaydah with 5 artillery shells.

On June 2, the UN envoy to Yemen, Hans Grundberg, announced that the Sanaa government and the Saudi coalition responded positively to the UN proposal to renew the armistice in force in Yemen for another two months.
