The UN Security Council said Kabul attackers must be brought to justice.

Today, the United Nations Security Council stressed that the perpetrators of the attack against Kabul Airport must be brought to justice, denouncing a "disgraceful" act that targeted civilians.

The Security Council members stressed the importance of holding the perpetrators of these criminal terrorist acts, as well as their instigators, financiers, and godfathers, accountable and bringing them to justice, calling on all countries to cooperate in this regard.

The deliberate targeting of civilians and crews assisting in the evacuation of civilians is a disgraceful act that should be condemned, according to the council. The importance of combating terrorism in Afghanistan to ensure that it is not used to threaten or attack another country was also stressed on.

The Security Council went on to say that no Afghan faction or individual should support terrorists operating in any country and that all parties involved should respect and facilitate civilian evacuations.

United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres also called representatives of the permanent members of the Security Council (the United States, China, France, Russia, and the UK) to a meeting on Monday to discuss the situation in Afghanistan after the Kabul attack, while London and Paris are working on a draft resolution on Afghanistan.

For its part, the Afghan Ministry of Health announced that the death toll from the Kabul airport bombing had risen to 103, including 28 Taliban and 13 US soldiers.

ISIS claimed responsibility for the two bombings that killed dozens, including 13 US soldiers near Kabul airport.

For his part, an official from the Taliban Movement confirmed the killing of at least 28 members of the movement in the Kabul bombings

In addition, the US Department of Defense confirmed the killing of 3 soldiers in a bus bombing that targeted a hotel where US personnel live in Kabul. Whereas, 10 soldiers were killed in two suicide attacks on Kabul airport.
