A source from the family of Ibrahim Ghandour, head of the former ruling National Congress Party in Sudan and former foreign minister during the era of ousted President Omar al-Bashir, said that Ghandour was re-arrested on Monday, less than a day after he was released from jail.

After his release, Ghandour called on the political parties, through the Turkish Anadolu Agency, for "comprehensive national reconciliation", stressing his country's need for dialogue to ov
