A survey conducted by NORC at the University of Chicago for The Associated Press and published by Axios revealed that a large number of US eligible voters are against a Trump majority GOP, despite not leaning towards a Democratic-dominant GOP as well.

The data showed that Independent midterm voters, despite not favoring either party, are more strongly resistant to Republicans.

Support for Republican candidates among independent voters has been nearly the same for the past three midterm elections at nearly 38%, which made up 8% of electoral votes in 2022, 5% in 2020 and 12% in 2018.

The survey also revealed that few independents found that the US economy is in a good state, while two-thirds said they are against the way the Biden administration is dealing with it.

Independents also were more inclined to suggest that the current inflation is due to factors beyond the administrations' control.

The US Midterm Elections that were held on November 8 revealed that, Although the American public is not satisfied with the current democratic-ruled administration under Joe Biden, the Republican party was still not a favorite or an alternative to America's year of 2024.

According to the WSJ, two-thirds of Tuesday's voters in exit polls said Biden shouldn’t consider running for President again - and Democrats in his own party seconded that.

There are multiple factors combined that contributed to the ongoing downfall of Republican favoritism during the midterm elections last Tuesday. Abortion, for example, hurt the GOP in some states, especially in Michigan where the Legislature failed to modify a 1931 law.

Another major factor that hurt the GOP votes is the WHO Trump fiasco, including his MAGA campaign and the Jan 6 insurrection probe.

Topics that appeal to Gen Z voters, were notes hit by the Democratic party to bring more votes and wins as well.
