While skepticism often shrouds the effectiveness of boycotting, history attests to its undeniable impact. From the Montgomery Bus Boycott during the Civil Rights Movement to the global boycott against apartheid South Africa. Even more recently, Starbucks lost $11bln in market value back in 2023 and laid off workers in the Mideast after "Israel's" war on Gaza. It's a simple yet powerful form of protest that sends a resounding message about refusing complicity with systems that perpetuate injustice and oppression, just like "Israel" and its allies. In between the lines of refusing to buy a product, lies a powerful form of solidarity with those who are oppressed, particularly Palestinians.
