Congressional aides, like many others in the US, face a risk of losing their jobs for taking a stance in support of Gaza. This is how these aides are boldly challenging US policy through an anonymous platform; the Congressional Dissent Channel. This new channel, modeled after the State Department’s dissent channel, allows junior staff to publicly criticize US policies on the Israeli war on Gaza without risking their jobs. Despite severe censorship and retaliation, these aides are finding innovative ways to express dissent and push back against the suppression of their views. So, let's take a look at the so-called US democracy and how it has pushed people to "get creative" just so that they can practice their rights, including freedom of speech and thought.
