Jenin Refugee Camp: the aftermath of an Israeli offensive
The Israeli occupation forces launched a military offensive in Jenin, in the occupied West Bank. This offensive lasted 20 hours, as IOF troops withdrew from Jenin City and its refugee camp before noon Tuesday. This video shows part of the destruction as a result of the Israeli offensive in Jenin Refugee Camp and also shows an Israeli bulldozer destroying the camp's infrastructure and Palestinians' homes. Last month, the International Court of Justice ruled that "Israel's" practices and policies violate international law and that the court will examine the legal implications of "Israel's" unlawful presence in the occupied Palestinian territories. The ICJ's advisory opinion is based on the premise that the Palestinian territories are occupied lands, and that the occupied Palestinian territories in Gaza, the West Bank, and al-Quds represent contiguous and sovereign lands that must be respected. And yet these videos continue to emerge, further documenting Israeli crimes.
