Speaking to Al Mayadeen, the mother of martyr Ali Qottaish stood defiantly on the land where her son was martyred, vowing never to leave. “Our homeland is more precious to us than our own children,” she declared, affirming that the residents would remain in town whether on the bare earth or in tents. With the Israeli occupation still unlawfully present inside Houla near the border, she called on the Lebanese Army's help for the retrieval of martyrs buried under the rubble.
