Palestinian prisoners released after months of Israeli detention
Around 50 Palestinian prisoners, including Dr. Mohammad Abu Salmiya, Director of al-Shifa Hospital, have been released after months of Israeli detention. Videos on social media show clear signs of torture and neglect on every prisoner. Dr. Abu Salmiya stated upon his release, commenting on the conditions that Palestinian detainees have to endure in Israeli prisons, "What detainees are currently enduring, the Palestinian people have not seen since the Nakba (catastrophe)."
